Who we are

Altacom (SMC-Private) Limited, trading as Logic & Loom. Registered in Pakistan, company number 0322517. Our registered address is CP-83, Raya Fairways Commercial, DHA Phase 6, Lahore, Pakistan.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For anything in it — including a request to see, correct or delete your data — write to privacy@logicandloom.com.

We are established in Pakistan and offer services to businesses and people in the United Kingdom, so UK GDPR applies to this processing under Article 3(2).

We are not established in the United Kingdom and we have not yet appointed a representative there under Article 27 of the UK GDPR. That appointment is in progress. Until it is complete, contact us directly at privacy@logicandloom.com on any matter relating to your personal data, and we will deal with it ourselves. Altacom (SMC-Private) Limited is a company registered and operating in Pakistan.

Our registration position with the Information Commissioner's Office is being confirmed. This does not affect your rights or how to exercise them, which are set out below.

What we collect

Nothing, through this website. There is no form on it, nothing is sent to us when you read a page, and there is no account to create. The only way we come to hold anything about you is if you choose to contact us.

If you email us, book a call or message us on WhatsApp, we hold whatever you send in that conversation. Booking is handled by Google Calendar and WhatsApp is operated by Meta; both collect data under their own terms, which we do not control and which apply whether or not you contact us.

Our hosting provider records technical information for every request — IP address, browser and the page requested — as part of running and securing the site. That happens for any website you visit and is not something we use to identify you.

We do not run website analytics, advertising pixels or remarketing tags on this site. If that changes, this policy and the cookie policy will be updated before anything starts collecting, and nothing non-essential will run without your consent.

We do not ask for special category data. If your business handles health data, please do not send us examples of it by email without agreeing with us first how it will be handled.

Why we are allowed to use it

If you email us, message us or book a call, our lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. You got in touch; we use what you sent to reply to you.

For keeping the site running and secure, our lawful basis is Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests. We do not send marketing email from this site, because there is nothing here to subscribe through.

Where your data is stored

This site stores nothing about you in any database, because it collects nothing. There is no enquiry record to hold.

Anything you send us by email or message sits in our email and messaging accounts, and a call you book sits in Google Calendar. Those providers act as our processors under terms we accept as a customer and cannot vary.

Our team is in Lahore, so anything you send us is read from Pakistan. Pakistan is not covered by a UK adequacy decision. The safeguard we rely on for that access is being confirmed. You can ask us which safeguard applies at any time.

How long we keep it

If you contact us and do not become a client, we delete the correspondence 12 months from last contact. A cold enquiry over a year old is of no use to us, and holding it would be harder to justify than deleting it.

If you become a client, retention of your records is as set out in the client agreement, together with whatever tax and accounting law requires us to keep afterwards.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct it if it is wrong
• Delete it, where we have no overriding reason to keep it
• Restrict what we do with it while a dispute is resolved
• Send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
• Stop processing it where we rely on legitimate interests, by objecting
• Stop sending you marketing, at any time and without giving a reason

Email privacy@logicandloom.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge. If we cannot do what you have asked, we will explain why.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the supervisory authority where you live. We would rather you raised it with us first, but you are not obliged to.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. It is a set of static files with no database behind it and no code running on a server, so there is no submission path to attack and nothing stored here to reach. Access to anything you send us by email is limited to the people who need it to reply to you.

No arrangement is perfect. If a breach happens that is likely to put your rights at risk, we will tell you and the ICO within the time limits the law sets.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when what we do changes, not on a schedule. The date at the top is when it last changed. If a change materially affects you, we will say so rather than rely on you noticing.
