02SEO & Content

SEO aimed at the terms people buy on

Technical fixes, category structure and content built for commercial intent. Rankings are a means to revenue here, not the number the report is written around.

Written audit back in 48 hours. No obligation, no pitch deck.

Our approach

How this work is done here.

The order matters. Most of what goes wrong in this discipline is a later step being taken before an earlier one.

  1. 01

    Establish what is actually indexed

A crawl against Search Console, product by product. Large catalogues routinely have a substantial share of products excluded, duplicated or crawled but not indexed, and no amount of content fixes a page the crawler never reaches.

  2. 02

Sort the structure before the words

Shopify serves the same product under every collection path unless canonicals are handled, and tag pages generate thin near-duplicates at scale. WooCommerce faceted filters create the same problem from the other direction. Structure first, because content inherits whatever the architecture does.

  3. 03

Write for the buying end of the query

Category and comparison pages that answer a purchase decision rather than blog posts that answer a curiosity. The brief specifies the intent, the objection to handle and the internal links, so the page has a job before it is written.

  4. 04

    Report against revenue

Organic revenue, by landing page, alongside position. Position on its own is the metric that lets an agency look successful during a flat quarter.

03

What you get, and when

What lands, and how often.

Reporting you can read without a translator, on a schedule you can hold us to.

  • A written audit in 48 hours

Before anything is agreed. What we found, what we would change first, and what we would expect it to be worth. You keep it whether or not you hire us.

  • A weekly note

Plain English, sent every week: what we did, what it did, what is next. Written by the specialist doing the work, not summarised by an account manager.

  • A monthly review

A longer session with the numbers behind it, including the things that did not work. Thirty minutes on a call, or a document if you would rather read it.

  • A change log you can read

Every change is dated and recorded, so when a number moves you can see what moved it. This is also what makes it possible to hand the account to someone else.

04

Indicative pricing

What it costs to start.

From

£1,000

per month

Rolling monthly. No minimum term and no exit fee.

What moves the figure

The fee covers the technical and structural work plus six pieces of content a month. Beyond that it moves with catalogue size and how much more content you want produced.

When this is the wrong fit

If you need revenue this quarter and have nothing running, paid media will get there first and SEO should follow it. Anyone promising you rankings on a commercial term inside a month is describing something other than SEO.

Tooling

What we work in.

Your accounts, your logins, your data. We bring the access we need and leave it behind when we are done.

  • Search Console
  • GA4
  • Screaming Frog
  • Ahrefs
  • Looker Studio
  • PageSpeed Insights
  • Shopify

Questions

The things people ask before they enquire.

Answered here rather than held back for a sales call.

  • How long does SEO take?

Technical fixes can move things within weeks, because you are recovering pages that were already earning attention. Ranking gains on competitive commercial terms are a matter of months, and the honest answer depends on your starting authority and catalogue size, which the audit establishes before you commit.

  • Do you guarantee rankings?

No, and neither can anyone else. Google does not sell placement in organic results and does not disclose the ranking system, so a guarantee is either a misunderstanding or a sales tactic. We commit to the work and to reporting it honestly.

  • Do you write the content or do we?

We do. Six pieces a month are included in the fee, written to a brief that states the intent and the objection each one has to answer. If your team would rather write, we brief and edit instead for a lower fee. What we will not do is publish content about your products without someone who knows them reviewing it.

  • Do you build links?

Through digital PR and genuine placements, yes. We do not buy links from networks or private blog networks. It breaches Google guidelines, and the clean-up costs more than the links ever returned.

  • Do we have to change platform?

Almost never. Both Shopify and WooCommerce can rank well; each has known weaknesses that are worked around rather than migrated away from. If a migration genuinely is the right call, that is a separate conversation with its own scope and risk, not something folded quietly into a retainer.

  • What happens if we stop?

The technical fixes, structure and content stay on your site and keep working. What stops is the ongoing work — new content, new links, and the maintenance that keeps a catalogue indexed as it changes.

Find out what is actually wrong.

Send us the URL and tell us what is not working. You get a written audit back within 48 hours: what we found, what we would fix first, and what we would expect it to do. If it turns out you do not need us, we will tell you that too.
